Ode to my Marten
Back in 1994 (15 years ago) when I bought the boots, I wondered "Show me how long lasting you can be.."
Time went by just like this, 15 years later(!!!), one day I figured that I still have the boots and I am still wearing it, "DM, you really did a great job!"
The uneven yellow stitches is the trademark. Seeing your once shiny face with cracks now... made me think of my face with wrinkles now...
Very first generation bottom design. Hardly find this nowaday...

I saw a Redwings commercial before (US version of Dr. Mart-boots maker), those heavy industry workers try get the Redwings boots from the retire worker, that leave me a deep impression...I don't think I have shoes more than 2 yrs old, since try to save some Cali golden estate......Keep the shoes, may be your son will want it for his 501 one day...
Aye, back to CHHS time, own a pair of DM was a very IN thing! True enough, you've fashion sense! :P
