RIP Michael Jackson

For those who grew up in the 70's - 80's, who doesn't know Michael Jackson?

My first English song encounter was his 1984 hit song "Beat It". Didn't actually know what he was singing about but pretty much remember the whole MTV. Famous red leather jacket, the shiny glove, the pants that is few inches shorter with white socks showing, not to mention: the Moonwalk. This is the image we have...

- Beelay Beelay... (this is how the Beat It sounds like :P)
- Showmou... (didn't actually it means "Come on" until I was in highschool..)
- I'm bad I'm bad ... (All the ah beng's favorite say...)
- Spread the legs (like za ma), grab the crotch and stand upward with one leg 90 degree kick and do the moonwalk.

I think these are the signature says/moves imprinted in the mind for years.

Even though in the last 10 years as he went downhills with all the scandals and rumors and haters, he still was once my musical idol.

RIP Michael Jackson.

Ode to my Marten

Back in 1994 (15 years ago) when I bought the boots, I wondered "Show me how long lasting you can be.."

Time went by just like this, 15 years later(!!!), one day I figured that I still have the boots and I am still wearing it, "DM, you really did a great job!"

The uneven yellow stitches is the trademark. Seeing your once shiny face with cracks now... made me think of my face with wrinkles now...

Very first generation bottom design. Hardly find this nowaday...
